Recently we went to the Butterfly Pavilion at Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C. The Butterflies are so adorable that I couldn’t help myself capturing the beauty of the nature by creating this set of 8 crayon effect butterfly brushes for Photoshop. Photoshop is a wonderful photo manipulation software that gives life to your creativity. So why not just grab these brushes and use them in your next art project. The crayon effect of the brushes gives you a natural freehand drawing experience that you shouldn’t miss.

I want to dedicate these brushes to my friend’s son Nathan Prante-Price. Nathan was diagnosed with Cockayne Syndrome shortly after birth and battled with it through his entire life. He finally succumbed to it last year. Although Nathan is not with us physically anymore, he has always been with us in our thoughts. When we saw the butterflies it reminded us of Nathan and since he likes butterflies a lot and his eyes would always brighten when he saw the butterfly balloons. Butterflies are also the symbol for the Cockayne Syndrome Network.
If you appreciate the work and would like to donate, please go to http://cockaynesyndrome.net and donate for “Share and Care Cockayne Syndrome Network” to support the organization in their quest to find a cure for this extremely rare genetic disease which is understood very little even in the medical community.
Don’t forget to leave comments. We love to see your art project that uses our brushes. Please feel free to post them in our comments section.
